Who We're Looking For

As part of the global support team based in Paraaque, Metro Manila, the Senior Planner will work closely with pre-contracts and projects teams in Australia to provide planning support and independently create and/or guide teams in developing comprehensive and analytical project schedules. Using your high level of communication skills you will be responsible for:

  • Diverse technical and project requirements whilst meeting deadlines
  • Developing and managing comprehensive project schedules for infrastructures projects
  • Collaboratively developing and managing complex programmes
  • Analysing critical path activities
  • Identifying risks and opportunities in construction schedules resulting from methodology, resourcing, weather or other factors and ensuring schedules have provided for these in full
  • Providing work-break down structure, execution schedules based on industry acceptable methodology/staging and productions, staging presentations, resource histograms, and cashflows
  • Supporting and actively engaging with colleagues, and managers in Australia and in the office.
  • Assisting projects with operational requirements.

The Successful Candidate Will Lead By Example With

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Excel
  • Competent in using Primavera (P6), MS Project and other planning tools like Asta, Tilos or Synchro will be highly regarded
  • 10 years experience in the horizontal civil construction industry, at least 5 years in planning and scheduling
  • Demonstrated experience on complex, high value projects within horizontal construction, renewables, mechanical and electrical infrastructure or similar industries will be highly regarded
  • Highly proficient in English communication with excellent presentation and analytical skills
  • Effective time management strategies and ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to display integrity, fairness, transparency, and consistency in all dealings.
  • The ability to establish and maintain relationships across different functions in a global business
