Senior PHP Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP.
• Manage and configure Linux-based servers for application deployment.
• Configure and optimize Apache web servers for performance and security.
• Design, implement, and maintain MySQL databases including queries, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, server, and database issues.
• Ensure applications follow best practices for security, scalability, and performance.
• Maintain clear technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a LAMP Developer, Backend Developer, or Full Stack Developer.
• Strong proficiency in PHP (OOP concepts, frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter is a plus).
• Solid understanding of Linux server administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar).
• Experience in configuring and managing Apache web servers.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL database design, queries, and optimization.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript is an advantage.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
