About the job

The Senior Performance Analyst independently lead the analysis, validation, and delivery of investment performance data, partnering closely with local and regional performance teams, client reporting, and front and middle office stakeholders. The role requires strong subject‑matter expertise in performance methodologies, systems, and asset management operations, with a focus on data integrity, issue resolution, and process improvement. The objective is to ensure performance data is delivered accurately, completely, and on time to internal and external clients.

On the job, you will:

  • Independently gather, analyze, and deliver high‑quality investment performance data, proactively identifying, investigating, and resolving complex data or calculation issues.
  • Review, validate, and approve performance outputs and underlying data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established methodologies and controls.
  • Provide timely and insightful performance reporting and analysis on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to local performance teams, client reporting, and front and middle office partners.
  • Oversee daily workflow processes, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and effective prioritization of work outputs.
  • Apply strong expertise in performance methodologies to independently resolve daily inquiries, provide guidance, and act as a point of escalation for team members and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee the maintenance and governance of systems and databases, enforcing control procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of static and time‑series data for assigned portfolios, benchmarks, and supporting reference data.
  • Demonstrate advanced understanding of performance calculations across multiple systems, performing complex manual calculations and validation as necessary.
  • Respond to recurring and ad hoc performance‑related inquiries, providing clear explanations and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Lead or contribute to projects focused on process optimization, automation, data quality improvement, and system enhancements.
  • Support knowledge sharing and best‑practice adoption within the team, including informal coaching or peer review activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3-6+ years of relevant experience in investment management, asset management, or wealth management.
  • Solid understanding of end‑to‑end asset management operations, investment styles, performance attribution, risk concepts, and benchmarking.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Advanced user of Sylvan, Bloomberg, Morningstar, Lipper for IM and/or other performance systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, and other analytics or automation tools.
  • Willingness to work on a schedule aligned with the supported region (US Time zone) and flexibility to support Asia hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrate strength in analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making.
  • Strong capability in researching, validating, and sourcing data from multiple internal and external providers.
  • Experience acting as a subject‑matter resource or informal mentor within a performance or analytics team.
  • Good organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
