Inchcape Philippines is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist (APAC) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end payroll operations across multiple APAC markets, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and local regulations. The position serves as a subject matter expert (SME) in payroll, supporting cross-functional teams in managing payroll processes, statutory requirements, and system-related matters. You will play a key role in driving standardization, process improvements, and automation initiatives, while maintaining strong governance and positive stakeholder relationships across the region.

What you'll do

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for APAC markets (mainly Singapore), ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Act as the payroll subject matter expert (SME), advising on compliance, systems, and process improvements
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, taxes, and statutory requirements, including audit support
• Drive process standardization, automation, and data/reporting improvements with internal teams
• Collaborate with stakeholders (HR, Finance, IT, vendors) and support payroll transformation initiatives and training

About you

To be successful in this role you will be:

• 7+ years of APAC payroll experience (e.g., Singapore/Hong Kong) with end-to-end process ownership
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, including tax, social security, and statutory requirements
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with fluency in English
• Highly detail-oriented and accuracy-focused, with strong governance mindset
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of acting as an SME or process lead
• Experience in shared services/multinational environments, with exposure to multiple payroll systems and vendors
