Job Description

1. Disciplinary Action (DA) Management

  • Assist in the preparation, review, and documentation of disciplinary cases (e.g., notices to explain, administrative hearing notices, decisions).
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all employee disciplinary cases.
  • Monitor timelines and compliance with due process requirements.
  • Support HR and Legal teams during administrative hearings and investigations.

2. Industrial & Labor Relations (IR/LR) Support

  • Provide assistance in handling employee grievances, complaints, and labor-related disputes.
  • Help in coordinating with labor unions, including preparation of documents for negotiations and meetings.
  • Assist in the preparation of position papers, affidavits, and other legal documents for labor cases filed with government agencies (e.g., NLRC, DOLE).
  • Monitor and track ongoing labor cases and ensure deadlines are met.

3. Legal Documentation & Compliance

  • Draft, review, and organize legal correspondences and case-related documents.
  • Maintain organized filing systems (both physical and digital) for all DA/IR/LR cases.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and company policies.
  • Support in audits and inspections related to labor and employment compliance.

4. Coordination & Administrative Support

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (HR, Operations, Management) regarding case statuses and requirements.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary.
  • Schedule meetings, hearings, and conferences related to employee relations cases.
  • Prepare reports and summaries of ongoing and concluded cases.

5. Legal Research & Advisory Support

  • Conduct research on labor laws, jurisprudence, and regulatory updates.
  • Provide summaries and insights to support decision-making in employee relations cases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, Political Science, or related field (Law degree or units is an advantage).
  • At least 2–4 years of experience in paralegal work, preferably with exposure to labor and employment law.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor Code, DOLE regulations, and labor relations practices.
  • Experience in handling disciplinary cases, employee relations, or labor cases is highly preferred.
  • Must be willing to work in Cabuyao, Laguna
