1. Disciplinary Action (DA) Management
- Assist in the preparation, review, and documentation of disciplinary cases (e.g., notices to explain, administrative hearing notices, decisions).
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all employee disciplinary cases.
- Monitor timelines and compliance with due process requirements.
- Support HR and Legal teams during administrative hearings and investigations.
2. Industrial & Labor Relations (IR/LR) Support
- Provide assistance in handling employee grievances, complaints, and labor-related disputes.
- Help in coordinating with labor unions, including preparation of documents for negotiations and meetings.
- Assist in the preparation of position papers, affidavits, and other legal documents for labor cases filed with government agencies (e.g., NLRC, DOLE).
- Monitor and track ongoing labor cases and ensure deadlines are met.
3. Legal Documentation & Compliance
- Draft, review, and organize legal correspondences and case-related documents.
- Maintain organized filing systems (both physical and digital) for all DA/IR/LR cases.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and company policies.
- Support in audits and inspections related to labor and employment compliance.
4. Coordination & Administrative Support
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (HR, Operations, Management) regarding case statuses and requirements.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary.
- Schedule meetings, hearings, and conferences related to employee relations cases.
- Prepare reports and summaries of ongoing and concluded cases.
5. Legal Research & Advisory Support
- Conduct research on labor laws, jurisprudence, and regulatory updates.
- Provide summaries and insights to support decision-making in employee relations cases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, Political Science, or related field (Law degree or units is an advantage).
- At least 2–4 years of experience in paralegal work, preferably with exposure to labor and employment law.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor Code, DOLE regulations, and labor relations practices.
- Experience in handling disciplinary cases, employee relations, or labor cases is highly preferred.
- Must be willing to work in Cabuyao, Laguna
