About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support B2B outbound prospecting and appointment setting. This is a high-impact sales role focused on generating qualified meetings with senior IT and operations leaders in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) and Energy sectors. You will be responsible for initiating conversations, building relationships with executive-level decision-makers, and scheduling discovery meetings for the business owner. This is a consultative sales development position—not a transactional sales role. Success is measured by your ability to engage decision-makers, overcome objections professionally, and consistently book high-quality meetings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound cold calls to a targeted list of prospects across the U.S.
- Engage executive-level contacts including CTOs, CIOs, IT Directors, VPs of IT, and Operations Leaders.
- Introduce the company's IT consulting and infrastructure services using a consultative approach.
- Qualify prospects and schedule discovery meetings with the business owner.
- Confirm meeting details during calls whenever possible.
- Reconfirm scheduled appointments to reduce no-shows.
- Record concise call notes and outcomes in a shared tracking sheet.
- Maintain accurate daily activity logs and reporting.
- Provide weekly feedback on messaging effectiveness, prospect objections, and market insights.
- Coordinate outreach across multiple U.S. time zones.
What You Will Not Be Responsible For
- Conducting technical product demonstrations
- Providing pricing or quotations
- Negotiating contracts
- Delivering detailed technical consultations
Your primary objective is to generate qualified discovery meetings and hand off opportunities to the business owner.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in B2B outbound sales, cold calling, appointment setting, or sales development.
- Proven success engaging C-level executives and senior decision-makers.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong objection-handling and gatekeeper navigation skills.
- Confident, persuasive, and professional phone presence.
- Highly organized with strong follow-up and reporting skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Experience selling IT consulting, managed services, infrastructure solutions, SaaS, or enterprise technology is highly preferred.
- Experience targeting AEC or Energy companies is an advantage.

Work Schedule
- 10 hours per week
- Tuesday – Thursday
- Flexible working hours between 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Central Time (U.S.), with outreach scheduled across multiple U.S. time zones.
Pay range and compensation package
- Hourly Rate: USD $3.50 – $6.25 per hour (based on experience)
- Performance Commission: Paid for each qualified discovery meeting successfully completed and validated.
- Opportunity to earn additional incentives based on performance.
