Senior Officer, Investment Banking (Debt Capital Markets (DCM)

Responsibilities

1. Debt Capital Markets Origination & Execution

• Prepare pitchbooks, market update and pricing analysis for financial institution, sovereign, SOE and corporate clients in USD, SGD, CNH and panda bond market
• Coordinate with the head office and other CCB entities where necessary to respond to potential issuers requests for proposals and regular market updates
• Assist senior team members where required in preparing and presenting in client pitch meetings
• Prepare internal investment banking committee papers, credit limit application, issuer rating application and client KYC reports where applicable
• Work with investment banking team members to manage the end-to-end execution process , including but not limited to due diligence, legal documentation review, and book-building
• Keep abreast of macro-economic conditions, regional primary market issuance, bond market development and individual issuers credit stories to identify origination opportunities

2. Others

• Support the custody team in transaction execution and regional market expansion by liaising with issuers, investors & intermediaries
• Observe and adhere to MAS regulations, CCB Head Office and Singapore branch internal rules and policies
• Respond to head office's reporting and other requests
• Assist the investment banking team with ad-hoc matters

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field from a reputable university
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in related field
• Professional proficiency (written and spoken) in English and Mandarin Chinese to liaise with mandarin speaking parties and Head office colleagues.
• Preferably has passed CMFAS Module 1B and Module 4A/4B Exam
• Proficiency in Bloomberg Terminal, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word
