Senior Observability Engineer

What Youll Do:

• Design, implement, and maintain observability solutions using Elastic Cloud Stack and AWS Managed Prometheus.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop scalable monitoring and logging solutions.
• Build ETL pipelines, configure index templates, and manage data lifecycle policies (ILM).
• Automate deployments using Ansible and Terraform following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
• Develop alerts, dashboards, and machine learning jobs for proactive monitoring and incident detection.
• Lead observability projects, provide technical expertise, and support production environments.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure solutions are delivered through Dev, QA, and Production lifecycles.

What You Bring:

• Degree in IT or a related field with strong experience in observability or platform engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats, APM, Machine Learning), cluster administration, security, and performance optimization.
• Experience with AWS Managed Prometheus, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Kubernetes, Docker, Lambda, and related AWS services.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, Painless, or similar languages.
• Experience building ETL pipelines, configuring ILM, and automating infrastructure with Ansible and Terraform.
• Knowledge of alerting, ticketing integrations, OTEL Collectors, and AI-driven observability solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience working in Agile environments.
