Salary: PHP 70,000.00 - PHP 110,000.00

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ISP, telecommunications, NOC, or network operations, with strong senior-level networking expertise
  • Advanced knowledge of OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, VXLAN, SD-WAN, and L2/L3 VPN underlay and overlay networks
  • 4-5 years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, securing, and troubleshooting Cisco IOS-XE/IOS-XR, Ciena SAOS, and Calix EXA/AXOS networks
  • 4-5 years of experience managing Linux environments and resolving complex network, system, and service-impacting issues
  • 2-3 years of experience using Python, Ansible, and Ansible Tower/AWX for network or system automation
  • 2-3 years of experience in security system design, configuration, and implementation
  • 1-2 years of experience using analytics and monitoring platforms such as Zabbix, Elasticsearch, NetBrain, and Arbor Sightline
  • 1-2 years of experience working with structured data formats, including JSON, XML, YAML, and CSV
  • Strong CLI experience with the ability to execute network changes, system upgrades, advanced troubleshooting, and escalation management
  • Experience in customer-facing technical support, with the ability to explain complex network concepts clearly and professionally
  • Strong technical documentation skills, including SOPs, network diagrams, architecture documentation, and change records
  • Fundamental knowledge of Git, version control, cybersecurity concepts, and telecom software tools
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, mentoring, and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, adapt to changing systems and processes, and operate with minimal supervision
  • Network, Linux, and/or cybersecurity certifications are preferred
  • Willing to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotations as required

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, test, monitor, and improve network configurations
  • Support network planning teams in testing new products and features
  • Optimize system performance, effectiveness, and uptime
  • Apply security controls to protect data and infrastructure
  • Research and recommend software upgrades
  • Build, test, and activate network services efficiently
  • Document network processes and automate repetitive tasks
  • Troubleshoot network, system, security, and application issues
  • Execute disaster recovery operations when required
  • Replace faulty network hardware as needed
  • Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support
  • Advocate for security and performance standards
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, timelines, and status reports
  • Contribute to cross-departmental projects with minimal supervision
