Senior Network Engineer – Philippines - Remote – Eastern Time Zone working hours
The Day-to-day
- Handling Ticket Escalations
- Updating service tickets.
- Working with teammates to assure timely resolution to client requests.
- Installing and configuring Local and Cloud Networking Environments
- Identify Client IT needs and work with team members to develop solutions.
- Be available at inconvenient times for upgrades, troubleshooting, etc. – hopefully not too often, but you know how it goes!
Typical Technical Day-to-day
- Keep our customers safe by ensuring data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance – that's what it's all about, right
- Resolving escalated tickets.
- Create and maintain network topology, equipment, and configuration documentation for each customer.
- Perform network administration such as: network infrastructure installs, configuration management, network problem analysis and resolution, log analysis, etc. All the nerdy IT stuff!
- On board new clients by deploying network management tools. More nerdy stuff!
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve network problems including network connectivity, traffic utilization, etc.

- Strong background with various networking equipment brands, such as Palo Alto, FortiNet, Meraki, Cisco, etc.
- Have deployed, Supported, and designed networks within Azure or AWS.
- Design and implement core network infrastructure, routing, hybrid networking, private access and monitored networking.
- Have a nurturing personality and desire to help mentor your fellow team members.
- Are results-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, professional, and reliable.
- Are committed completing projects and tasks on schedule.
- Possess extraordinary customer service skills and strong multi-tasking, organizational, documentation, and time-management skills.
- Are comfortable working with clients of all kinds and have experience discovering business and technology needs. People need to feel heard and comfortable with our solutions – this stuff is complicated!
- Have a strong understanding of technology and business productivity systems.
- Already have 3+ years of experience working for a Managed Service Provider and 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring, designing, and troubleshooting network topologies.
It Would Great If You Have
- Experience working with cloud and virtualized environments such as Azure, AWS, and VMWare ESXi.
- Experience with Auvik Network Monitoring or other networking monitoring tools.
- Experience with Vulnerability Management tools focused on networking.
