Senior Network Engineer

Job Title: Network Engineering (Load Balancer)

Location: Mandaluyong/BGC Taguig

Arrangement: Hybrid - 2x a week RTO. Mandatory every Tuesday in CG2 (or as agreed by leadership) and any other nearby office for the other day.

Schedule: Nightshift schedule

Employment Type: 6 months contract, renewable or subject for absorption depending on performance

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Network Engineering.

- Must have: Experience with Load Balancers (F5, DNS or DDI)

- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching technologies.

- Experience in troubleshooting complex network issues and optimizing network performance.

- Familiarity with network security principles and practices.

- Ability to work with network monitoring and diagnostic tools to ensure system health and availability.

Summary:

As an Operations Engineer, you will spend your day ensuring the smooth functioning and delivery of production systems and services. Your role involves monitoring operational requirements, addressing any issues that arise, and coordinating with various teams to maintain service quality. You will be actively involved in managing the day-to-day operations to meet service agreements and support continuous system availability and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

- Responsible for team decisions.

- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among team members to ensure timely resolution of operational challenges.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency.

- Support the development and implementation of best practices and standard operating procedures within the team.
