Senior Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, test, and support secure, resilient, and mission-critical network solutions for Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems and related projects.
• Develop and maintain network architecture, solution designs, Bills of Materials (BOM), interface specifications, test procedures, and integration documentation.
• Configure, validate, and deploy network infrastructure in factory and customer environments, ensuring successful integration, operational readiness, and handover.
• Provide technical expertise in enterprise network architecture, Cisco networking, network security, infrastructure engineering, and system integration.
• Support network upgrades, configuration changes, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and technical risk mitigation.
• Participate in design and technical reviews, identify risks and dependencies, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Lead and coordinate network engineering activities, including task prioritisation, effort estimation, progress tracking, and quality assurance.
• Act as a key technical point of contact for engineering teams, project stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams.
• Support project planning, roadmap activities, milestone delivery, change management, and stakeholder communication.
• Deliver technical training and provide customer support during project implementation, testing, acceptance, and handover.
• Ensure adherence to network security, configuration management, engineering processes, quality standards, and company policies.
• Drive continuous improvement, engineering best practices, knowledge sharing, and effective team collaboration.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Network Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or related technical roles supporting complex and mission-critical environments.
• Strong experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network and infrastructure architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of network security principles, standards, and best practices.
• Professional networking certification such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Experience with scripting and automation using Shell, Perl, TCL/TK, or similar tools.
• Experience with network troubleshooting, system integration, upgrades, testing, deployment, and operational support.
• Proven ability to lead or coordinate small engineering teams and manage technical deliverables.
• Strong problem-solving, technical decision-making, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and real-time, mission-critical environments is highly desirable.
• Experience in Air Traffic Management (ATM), aviation, or similar critical infrastructure environments is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile and/or SAFe delivery methodologies is preferred.
