Your Role
As a
Senior NetSuite Developer, you will:
- Own the development backlog within a highly customized NetSuite environment centered on NetSuite Field Service Management (FSM).
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain SuiteScript 2.1 solutions across User Event, Client, Suitelet, Map/Reduce, Scheduled, Restlet, and Workflow Action script types.
- Build and enhance custom Suitelets that support critical business processes such as invoice approvals, transfer order automation, and process status management.
- Develop and maintain SuiteFlow workflows, including multi-step approval chains with conditional routing and escalation logic.
- Create and support FSM Mobile customizations, including dynamic field expressions, required-field logic, post-checklist automation, billing workflows, and mobile time-capture functionality.
- Design and maintain integrations between NetSuite and external platforms using Celigo integrator.io, Microsoft Dynamics 365 SalesHub, banking solutions, payroll systems, and warehouse management platforms.
- Investigate and resolve FSM script collisions, synchronization issues, automation failures, and workflow bottlenecks.
- Develop scripted solutions for revenue recognition, financial automation, AP/AR workflows, and complex transaction processing scenarios.
- Produce functional requirement documents (FRDs), deployment documentation, code reviews, and technical recommendations while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external consulting partners.
- Support major system initiatives, including CRM migration projects and next-generation integration architecture design.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
- 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite development experience with coding as the primary responsibility.
- Expert-level SuiteScript 2.1 experience across multiple script types in production environments.
- Strong experience with SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF), including validation, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Proven expertise designing and implementing complex SuiteFlow workflows and approval processes.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining production-grade Suitelets that support real business operations.
- Experience managing the full development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment and post-production support.
- Strong written communication skills with experience creating FRDs, technical documentation, deployment notes, and code reviews.
Preferred Skills/expertise
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite Field Service Management (FSM), including FSM Mobile scripting and customization.
- Experience designing and supporting Celigo integrator.io integrations and automation flows.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales / Sales Hub data models and NetSuite integration mapping.
- Experience participating in CRM migration or replatforming initiatives involving platforms such as Dynamics 365, Salesforce, HubSpot, or NetSuite CRM.
- Strong knowledge of NetSuite Revenue Recognition, deferred revenue processes, and financial data remediation.
- NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer II certification.
- Experience with NetSuite WMS, SC Mobile, banking integrations, FISPAN, ADP, or similar enterprise platforms.
- Understanding of multi-subsidiary, multi-department, and multi-class financial environments.
