Symbos is expanding in the Philippines and looking for a
Senior .Net Developer to join our growing IT team. If you're passionate about building scalable, high-performance solutions and want to work with a company that values innovation, collaboration, and meaningful work, this is your opportunity.
What will you do
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs using .NET Core
- Optimise data access layers with Entity Framework and tune SQL Server performance
- Write high-performance SQL queries and stored procedures for transactional and analytical workloads
- Integrate AI/ML-driven features and work with modern cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Ensure robust application and data security, including encryption and secure authentication
- Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to maintain secure CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and uphold code quality
- Stay updated with the latest in .NET, AI, cloud, and database technologies
- Participate in Agile teams, sprints, and retrospectives
What do you need to succeed
- At least 7 years experience in .NET Core development
- Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, RESTful API development
- Hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing)
- Solid understanding of data security best practices (encryption, secure coding, compliance)
- Experience with AI APIs, ML integration (Azure ML, OpenAI, TensorFlow/.NET ML)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and PaaS database solutions
- Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile/Scrum environments
- Skills in message queues, containerisation, microservices, and data pipelines
- Security certification (e.g., Microsoft SC-100, CompTIA Security+) or demonstrated expertise in secure systems design
