The Qualifications We Seek
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on .NET development experience in a senior or similar software development role
- Strong experience building and maintaining .NET WinForms and/or ASP.NET web applications
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL scripting, query optimization, stored procedures, and database performance troubleshooting
- Proven experience debugging, enhancing, and modernizing existing systems, including legacy or business-critical applications
- Familiarity with VB.NET and legacy Visual Basic 6 for system migration, maintenance, and support
- Experience working with or supporting ERP systems is highly advantageous
- Experience with Crystal Reports and DevExpress is an advantage
- Working knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, preferably React.js, is advantageous
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues independently
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with a strong commitment to delivering quality results
Your Daily Tasks
- Review business and system requirements, then translate them into clear technical specifications and solution designs
- Build, enhance, test, and deploy .NET applications across WinForms and web-based environments
- Create, refine, and maintain SQL scripts, stored procedures, database tables, and performance improvements
- Investigate application errors, debug issues, and resolve system concerns raised by support teams
- Manage escalated technical tickets and assist users with application functionality and system-related concerns
- Upgrade and convert legacy VB6 applications into stable, maintainable .NET-based solutions
- Create, update, and support Crystal Reports for invoices, operational reports, and data extracts
- Develop tools for importing, exporting, and processing data between Excel files and SQL databases
- Use SQL tracing to analyze ERP workflows and rebuild required processes within new .NET applications
- Prepare user guides, system notes, and functional documentation to support effective system use
