About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Azure Integration & Container Specialist (IDSM) to design, implement, and manage cloud-based integration solutions and containerized applications for a large-scale modernization initiative. The role requires strong expertise in Azure services, containers, and integration technologies to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions.
You will focus on building integration frameworks using Microsoft APIM, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Container Apps, along with additional components such as Azure Data Factory, temporal.io, and Spring workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage Azure Container Apps (ACA) for microservices and containerized applications.
- Implement Azure Service Bus (ASB) for decoupling applications and ensuring scalable, event-driven communication.
- Utilize Azure API Management (APIM) for creating, securing, and monitoring APIs.
- Configure and manage Azure Resource Groups for resource provisioning and cost management.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and quality assurance to ensure performance and reliability.
- Deploy solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Set up monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Document design and development processes and provide training to team members.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience developing and deploying with Azure Container Apps (ACA) and Azure Service Bus (ASB).
- Strong knowledge of microservices, serverless containers, and event-driven architecture.
- Proficiency with Dapr, KEDA, and Envoy.
- Experience with API Management (APIM) for full API lifecycle management.
- Resource provisioning, access control, and cost optimization in Azure.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Advanced Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with message queues, publish-subscribe topics, retry mechanisms, and dead letter queues (DLQ).
- Experience in state management for stateful applications and service invocation.
