Job Summary

Oversees the supermarket's merchandising operations, ensuring effective product assortment, pricing, inventory management, supplier coordination, and sales performance to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies aligned with sales and business objectives.
• Oversee product assortment, pricing, promotions, and inventory availability.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and purchasing terms.
• Analyze sales performance, market trends, and demand forecasts to optimize product movement.
• Monitor inventory levels and minimize overstocking, stockouts, and product wastage.
• Lead and develop the merchandising team to achieve departmental targets.
• Coordinate with purchasing, operations, marketing, and store management teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, merchandising standards, and budget requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant merchandising experience, preferably in supermarket or retail operations, with supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of product assortment, inventory control, sales forecasting, pricing, and supplier negotiations.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory or merchandising systems.
• Willing to work on-site in Tabaco City, Albay.
