As a Senior MEPF Engineer at M Moser Associates, you would collaborate with the Manila team to provide the following:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead internal and external project teams in mechanical, plumbing and fire protection related building services from site selection through to post-occupancy phase, to ensure these services are fully integrated and provide the highest quality engineered spaces in the market.
- Coordinate internal resources by validating resource availability and allocation.
- Bring on board and develop Scope of Works for third party Consultants, Contractors, and vendors to cover project execution together with the internal MEPF Team
- Assisting the contracts team with the procurement and commercial management of all pre and post contract stages of the project, which will be awarded to local and international vendors / suppliers / contractors. This includes supporting payment issues and reviewing sign-off procedures.
- Project focus on carbon neutral design and low EUI system design.
- Managing the day-to-day the engineering related mechanical, plumbing and fire protection project elements together with the internal/external project teams.
- Reviewing cost plans/budgets with the contracts team to ensure they are recorded accurately and timely.
- Simultaneously manage multiple projects in different stages
- Provide site analysis of building systems and provide clear direction on required modifications to these systems to achieve client driven standards.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
- Guiding both design and build teams through design intent to preserve the design quality of a project
- Collaborating cross-departmentally
- To measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- To ensure that comprehensive project documentation will be maintained and enforced by internal and external project teams.
Qualifications and Key Competencies:
- 10 + years of work experience specializing in various Engineering services within the building design and construction field
- Experienced in various Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and fire protection disciplines
- University Degree in either Mechanical/Electrical/Building Systems Engineering or related field.
- Experience leading a team
- Experience inspecting and supervising various mechanical, plumbing and fire protection disciplines during construction and providing solutions to overcome site challenges
