The Senior Marketing Automation Specialist is a crucial technical leader driving our top-of-funnel pipeline and managing the complex systems that power our demand generation, social media, and inbound campaigns. In this senior role, you will act as the lead technical architect behind our omnichannel marketing efforts, ensuring that every interaction is captured, scored, and routed flawlessly.
This goes far beyond a standard out-of-the-box HubSpot setup. You will own and optimize a highly customized martech ecosystem driven by data, modern automation, and continuous optimization. Responsibilities:
Lead and Architect: Build, launch, and optimize complex, full-funnel demand generation campaigns across email, web, and paid channels in our marketing automation platform.
System Migration Ownership: Play a leading role in migrating our complex data and campaign ecosystem into HubSpot, architecting the future state of our marketing operations.
Advanced Integrations: Manage and troubleshoot the technical integration and tracking for omnichannel campaigns (e.g., LinkedIn Lead Gen forms, advanced UTM architecture, third-party ad platforms).
Data Model & Scoring: Design, build, and continually refine the automation logic for inbound inquiries, including complex lead scoring models, conversational AI routing, and inbound call tracking systems.
Strategic Partnership: Act as a strategic advisor to Demand Gen managers, designing sophisticated A/B tests for landing pages, emails, and automated nurture tracks, and providing actionable insights on the results.
Database Governance: Ensure seamless, bidirectional data flow between HubSpot, Salesforce, and third-party platforms, maintaining strict data hygiene and compliance.
Process & QA Leadership: Establish strict quality control and QA processes. Oversee high-volume campaign build requests, ensuring junior team members or cross-functional partners adhere to best practices.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in B2B marketing, with at least 3+ years directly architecting and managing advanced Marketing Automation platforms.
Campaign Expertise: Proven track record of building complex email nurtures, dynamic content workflows, and scalable omnichannel programs.
Inbound/Social Tech: Strong experience with social media management platforms, inbound call tracking (e.g., Invoca, CallRail), and conversational marketing/chatbot logic.
CRM & Systems: Advanced understanding of Salesforce architecture (lead statuses, campaigns, objects, and queue functioning) and its direct integration with marketing automation.
Core Skills: Exceptional analytical thinking, excellent English communication, and rigorous attention to detail. Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Tools: Advanced knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, data manipulation) and proven experience using AI tools to scale operations, data analysis, or coding.
Education: B.A. degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: Advanced certifications in HubSpot (e.g., HubSpot Marketing Software, Revenue Operations) or similar platforms like Marketo/Pardot are highly preferred.
Technical Chops: Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for troubleshooting email/landing page templates, and familiarity with APIs or webhooks.
Mentorship: Previous experience training, mentoring, or onboarding junior marketing operations staff.
Interview Process
