About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Market Research Project Manager with a strong background in Quantitative Research to lead the successful delivery of complex, multi-country research projects for international clients.
This is a senior client-facing role responsible for managing end-to-end quantitative research studies while collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple regions. The successful candidate will provide project leadership, build long-term client relationships, mentor junior team members, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end quantitative market research projects from project initiation through final delivery.
- Manage complex multi-country and multi-market research studies for global clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive communication and strategic project guidance.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including Fieldwork, Scripting, Translation, Data Processing, Operations, and Quality Assurance.
- Review and test questionnaires, programmed surveys, routing logic, quotas, and project specifications.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all projects meet client expectations, quality standards, and agreed service levels.
- Manage project financials, including budgeting, profitability, invoicing, and change requests.
- Mentor and support Project Managers and Research Executives, promoting best practices and continuous development.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
About You
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 7 years experience in project management within a market research agency.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing quantitative market research projects from inception to completion.
- Proven experience delivering international and multi-country research studies.
- Strong knowledge of quantitative research methodologies, online surveys, CATI, sampling, quotas, and fieldwork management.
- Excellent client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and profitability.
- Outstanding organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience mentoring or leading project teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Desirable
- Working knowledge of qualitative research methodologies and mixed-method studies.
- Experience with survey programming platforms such as Qualtrics, Decipher, Forsta/Confirmit, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with ESOMAR guidelines, ISO 20252, GDPR, and other market research industry standards.
- Experience working with international clients across multiple regions.
