Senior Manual QA Analyst (Hyrbrid)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology & Services, Banking, Financial Services
• Has 5 - 10 years of experience in Software Testing
• Knowledge on Software Testing Lifecycle process and Testing Methodologies
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively work with cross functional teams
• Must have excellent attention to detail to identify even the most well-hidden bugs
• Expert in Documentation
• Must be a critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Has basic knowledge on core banking
• Must have an ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Must be a Team player
• Has good time-management skills
• Must have excellent ability to identify and escalate risk and issue
• Good mentor & coach. Desirable: Certified Tester, Agile Testing experience

Responsibilities:

Test Functional Senior Analyst is responsible in performing automated and manual tests to ensure the software

created by developers is fit for purpose. The Test Functional Senior Analyst will help in planning, coordinating,

creating, and executing test cases while maintaining regular updates on the testing progress. Review specifications 

and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Assist the Test Lead in creating a 

detailed, comprehensive & well-structured test cases and plans. Identify, record, document & track bugs. Coach and 

mentor test analysts.

• Assist in creating a detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases to ensure over-all test strategy and test coverage are considered using different testing methodologies.
• Develops and updates test artifacts in an efficient and timely manner according to company standards and procedures.
• Execute test plans and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications to ensure that all the objectives are met, and the solution works as expected. Coach other testers during test execution.
• Report, monitor and response in a timely manner to the issues/defects reported in the Defect Tracking Tool to provide real time updates on the test results or until the issues/defects are resolved/closed.
• Understand the user stories/use cases/requirements and their acceptancecriteria to ensure validity of the corresponding test cases.
• Recommend improvements to existing policies/procedures and assisting in the implementation of these improvements.
