Reports To: VP – Finance, Supply Chain and Global Brands
Summary
Reporting to the VP - Finance, Supply Chain and Global Brands, the Director serves as the
strategic finance partner to Procurement and Manufacturing operations across three
manufacturing sites (Cebu, Baddi, Lugano) and regional procurement teams spanning Asia
and Europe. This role drives financial performance optimization, provides decision support
for capital investments and sourcing strategies, and ensures robust financial planning
processes across the supply chain value stream. The position manages one direct report
and requires limited international travel to manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering & Financial Performance
• Partner with Procurement and Manufacturing leadership across Cebu (Philippines),
Baddi (India), and Lugano (Switzerland) to optimize financial performance and drive
cost efficiency
• Serve as the finance lead for trade procurement activities with vendor base across
Asia and Europe
• Provide decision support and post-decision analysis for supply chain initiatives,
capital investments, sourcing strategies, and operational improvements
• Lead financial modeling for make vs. buy decisions, vendor selection, and capacity
optimization
Financial Analysis & Reporting
• Analyze and interpret financial performance to explain variances from budget and
prior year for procurement costs, manufacturing costs, and supply chain spending
• Conduct detailed variance analysis including price, volume, cost, mix, exchange rate
impacts, and spending patterns
• Lead manufacturing cost analysis including labor efficiency, overhead absorption,
material usage, and capacity utilization
• Perform purchase price variance (PPV) analysis and commodity cost trend modeling
• Support transfer pricing analysis and optimization between manufacturing sites
• Analyze landed costs including freight, duties, tariffs, and currency impacts
Process Ownership & Continuous Improvement
• Design, execute, improve, and document financial processes for Supply Chain
Operations including: monthly actual reporting and commentary, rolling forecasts and
reforecasts, annual operating plan development, and long-range strategic planning
• Coordinate across regions and functions to ensure visibility and alignment on
financial priorities
• Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards for supply chain financial performance
Working Capital & Balance Sheet Management
• Support inventory valuation, obsolescence analysis, and working capital optimization
initiatives
• Forecast and analyze cash flow impacts from procurement payment terms and
manufacturing cycles
• Support vendor payment terms negotiations with financial modeling
Requirements
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (required)
• MBA or advanced degree desirable but not required
• 6-8 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Decision Support, or Finance Business
Partnering
• Experience with trade procurement and/or manufacturing operations in a multi-site
environment (required)
• Experience in consumer goods, manufacturing, industrial, or related industries
preferred
• Minimum 2 years of people management or team leadership experience
• Experience working in a global, matrixed organization with cross-functional
collaboration
Technical & Functional Expertise
• Strong financial planning and analysis experience including: P&L forecasting and
analytics with focus on product costs and manufacturing variance analysis, balance
sheet forecasting across inventory, payables, and working capital, and multi-currency
financial modeling and currency impact analysis
• Supply chain finance experience including: trade procurement and vendor financial
analysis, manufacturing cost accounting and standard cost development, transfer
pricing between legal entities, and capital expenditure evaluation and ROI analysis
• Demonstrated capability in opportunity and risk identification
• Comprehensive variance analysis skills (Price, Volume, Cost, Mix, Exchange,
Spending)
• Working knowledge of supply chain operations including procurement-to-pay and
order-to-cash processes
• Familiarity with US GAAP and/or IFRS accounting standards
• Experience with Internal Audit, General Accounting, Consolidations, Project
Management a plus
Systems & Technical Skills
• Advanced proficiency with MS Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, data
manipulation, complex formulas)
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar) required
• Experience with financial planning tools (Tagetik, OBIE, or similar) preferred
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI) desirable
• Experience with Microsoft Access or database tools a plus
• Strong data analytics mindset with ability to work with large datasets

Additional Information
• Travel: Up to 10% international travel to manufacturing sites in India and Switzerland
