Under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales - CSO, and within the limits of established Corporate/Sales policies and procedures, Responsible for selling the rooms to prospective and existing corporate clients (e.g., corporations, business/civic/school organizations, government agencies, etc.) to generate business for the hotel and to attain the established sales goals. Promotes the desired work culture around the core values of the company.
Familiarizes herself with the hotel's room rates, room amenities, facilities, and services available to guests.
Develops and maintains new and existing corporate accounts by planning and scheduling sales calls to corporate clients to solicit business for the hotel.
Prepares and submits proposals/quotations to corporate clients interested in bookings for rooms at the hotel.
Follows the established activity chart that shows a summary of upcoming sales and promotional activities to be undertaken by the department.
Complies with all established hotel policies and procedures on room bookings. Informs the clients of hotel policies on booking requirements (e.g., submission of Letter of Accommodation, Rooming List, etc.) to avoid future problems.
Accepts room bookings from corporate clients and coordinates with Front Office for proper blocking of rooms. Regularly follows up on Letters of Accommodation (LOAs)/Rooming List with clients for confirmation of their room reservations. Ensures that these documents are submitted by the clients before check-in of their guests.
Prepares a contract to document the corporate room rate granted to and agreed upon with the corporate client. Ensures that the contract is signed by the Assistant Director of Sales and representative of the corporate client.
Entertains prospective clients at the hotel's F&B outlets to promote goodwill and solicit business for the hotel.
Shows the guest rooms to prospective corporate clients upon their request.
Requests for prior approval from the Credit & Collection Head of Finance Department for client's payment term that is inconsistent with the hotel's credit policies.
Maintains regular contact with existing clients through personal visits, telephone calls, and correspondence to ensure productive accounts.
Maintains an updated list of corporate clients containing information such as business address, telephone number, contact person, email address, birthdays, and other pertinent data.
Investigates client's complaints on guest room facilities/amenities, food and beverage served at the F&B outlets, and room service and informs the department concerned for remedial action. Elevates major problems/complaints to superior/s for appropriate action.
Entertains/answers phone inquiries from prospective clients about the hotel's guestrooms and other facilities.
Strives to achieve her target production/room sales assigned by superior/s.

Weekly Expense Report
Weekly Production Report
Month-End Report
Recommends to superior/s specific action plans and sales strategies to increase room bookings.
Attends and participates actively in the monthly Sales & Marketing Meetings and other meetings where presence is required.
Represents the hotel and actively participates in trade and industry-related activities and gatherings as may be assigned by superior/s.
Distributes hotel giveaways to corporate clients for goodwill purposes.
Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities
Demonstrates Awareness of OH&S policies and procedures and ensures all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines.
Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures.
Be familiar with property safety, first aid, and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly.
Initiates action to correct a hazardous situation and notifies superiors of potential dangers.
Logs security incidents and accidents by hotel requirements.
Qualifications
Five (5) years of related work experience in the hotel industry
Graduate of Business Course or any four-year business-related course
Computer Literacy – MS Office, Internet
Business management, Sales & Marketing Skills

At least eight (8) years of related work experience in the hotel industry
Established network within the Cebu corporate, tourism, hospitality, and MICE industries.

Strong leadership capability with experience managing high-value accounts.
Experience handling luxury hospitality clientele and VIP accounts.
