Senior Manager – Procurement - Avionics, Electrical & Electronic Systems

We are looking for a Senior Manager – Procurement with a strong Electrical / Electronics / Avionics background to lead sourcing and supplier development for aircraft avionics, electrical, electronic, embedded, power distribution, and communication systems.

The role will own supplier identification, RFQ management, cost bench marking, supplier qualification, procurement execution, risk mitigation, and long-term sourcing strategy for avionics and electrical systems used in our aircraft program.

The candidate must have strong experience in sourcing PCBAs, wiring harnesses, connectors, sensors, avionics LRUs, power electronics, battery electronics, embedded systems, and high-reliability electronic components. Aerospace, defense, UAV, eVTOL, EMS, or high-reliability electronics sourcing experience will be preferred.

In addition to procurement expertise, the candidate must be digitally strong and capable of implementing AI, automation, dashboards, supplier analytics, and SCM digital tools to improve procurement speed, visibility, and decision-making.

Requirements

• 10–16 years of procurement / sourcing experience
  
• Electrical / Electronics / Avionics sourcing background
  
  
• Experience with PCBAs, wiring harnesses, connectors, sensors, power electronics, avionics LRUs
  
  
• Strong RFQ, negotiation, supplier evaluation and vendor development skills
  
  
• Knowledge of aerospace documentation, traceability, COC, test reports, and compliance
  
  
• Exposure to AS9100D, DO-160, IPC standards, ESD handling, and obsolescence management preferred
  
  
• Strong digital proficiency: ERP, Advanced Excel, Power BI / Tableau, AI tools, automation workflows
  
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced aircraft development environment
