Senior Manager Payments & Merchant Acquiring

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Manager – Payments & Merchant Acquiring to lead payment partnerships, EFT POS operations, and digital payment solutions. This role drives commercial competitiveness, reliable payment operations, and seamless payment experiences across our physical stores and e-commerce channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage acquiring bank and payment partner relationships, including commercial negotiations and cost optimization.
• Oversee EFT POS operations, payment infrastructure, and e-commerce payment solutions.
• Ensure reliable payment processing through SLA monitoring and incident management.
• Manage merchant contracts, renewals, and compliance requirements.
• Lead the payment operations team and drive service quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10–12 years of relevant experience in merchant acquiring, banking, fintech, payment service providers, or payment gateway solutions.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing teams and external partners.
• Proven experience managing acquiring bank relationships and commercial negotiations.
• Strong understanding of EFT POS, payment acceptance, and e-commerce payment solutions.

Preferred Industry Background: Acquiring banks, payment service providers (PSPs), payment facilitators (PayFacs), fintech companies, payment gateway providers, and related payment services industries.
