POSITION: SENIOR OUTSOURCED OPERATIONS MANAGER
JOB LOCATION: First Philippine Industrial Park (FPIP), Sto. Tomas, Batangas
JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Operations Manager, Outsourced Operations, reports directly to the Head of Operations in the Philippines and is accountable for the end-to-end management of the company's outsourced manufacturing operations in the Philippines. This Senior Manager role leads operational execution, escalates and resolves challenges in partnership delivery, embeds continuous improvement, and models the company's high-performance culture and values.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Operational Leadership: Direct and manage all outsourced manufacturing operations across the companys categories (Floor Care, Beauty, and others) within the region, delivering high-mix, complex products to world-class standards.
- Partner Engagement: Build and cultivate strong, executive-level relationships with C-level leaders at partner organizations. Serve as teh company's primary contact for operational execution, escalation, and issue resolution to maintain aligned, high-performing partnerships.
- Factory Management & Compliance: Oversee end-to-end factory performance, championing operational excellence, compliance with all requirements, and local regulations in CSER (Corporate Social & Environmental Responsibility), health & safety, and ethical standards.
- KPI & Process Management: Define, implement, and continuously improve rigorous operational KPIs (including OTIF, quality, cost, yield, and throughput). Lead due diligence to ensure robust reporting, auditing, and analytical frameworks.
- Continuous Improvement & Excellence: Embed a culture of continuous improvement through world-class manufacturing methodologies (lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, Hoshin Kanari) and lead waste reduction, process optimization, and efficiency programs to deliver better cost, quality, and speed.
- People Leadership & Capability Building: Inspire, mentor, and develop both direct and indirect teams (including partner teams), fostering a people-centered leadership style. Actively develop talent, build a culture of accountability, and champion diversity and inclusion.
- Change & Risk Management: Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate risks—including those arising from new product introductions, technology transfers, and process changes. Lead the operational response for critical escalations.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate cross-functional teams and with external partners, ensuring seamless operational delivery and alignment with business strategies.
KEY DELIVERABLES (First 6 Months):
- Rapidly assess and stabilize partner manufacturing output to deliver on-time, in-full (OTIF) results.
- Establish best-in-class operational reporting, issue management, and escalation processes.
- Drive measurable improvement in KPIs (quality, yield, cost, efficiency).
- Lead continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives across all factories.
- Ensure full compliance with the client's CSER, health and safety, and reporting standards.
- Build strong, collaborative working relationships with C-level partner executives.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- - Must have leadership/management experience in contract manufacturing operations in either the electronics manufacturing or semiconductor industry with a demonstrable track record operating in high-mix, complex manufacturing environments.
- - Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline.
- - Deep proficiency in world-class manufacturing methodologies: Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, Hoshin Kanri, and robust operational excellence practices.
- - Experience managing both direct and indirect teams, with outstanding influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
- - Proven capability to independently challenge, influence, and collaborate with senior leadership, both within and with external partners.
- - Deep understanding of risk management, compliance (CSER, EHS), and process optimization in manufacturing operations.
- - People-centered leader with an outstanding track record in developing talent, building inclusive cultures, and modeling best-in-class leadership behaviors.
- - Results-driven, adaptable, self-motivated, and able to excel under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- - Exceptional communicator fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is advantageous.
