About the Company
Rassense Private Limited is a food services company focused on delivering innovative, technology-driven workplace dining experiences. The business combines food, service, and technology to improve productivity, wellbeing, and satisfaction for its clients. With a strong base in India and a growing ambition to deliver end-to-end solutions across sectors and geographies, the company is building a differentiated position through operational excellence, customer experience, and long-term partnerships. Its approach is rooted in collaboration, integrity, and shared growth, with a clear commitment to serving clients, employees, and communities with quality and transparency. The organization is working to expand its consumer-facing presence while staying closely connected to its heritage and production communities. This role sits at the center of that growth agenda, helping shape how the brand reaches consumers and drives measurable business impact.
About the Role
This role owns the consumer marketing agenda for a food catering business that needs sharper brand recall, stronger demand generation, and more effective engagement across consumer touchpoints. The focus is on turning market insight into campaigns that create awareness, trial, repeat behavior, and business growth, while working within tight budget constraints and low-margin realities. It requires a leader who can balance brand building with commercial discipline, align marketing plans to sales and operations, and manage agencies and partners for efficient execution. The role also requires travel for market visits, on-ground activations, and coordination with retail or operational teams. The right person will bring deep B2C marketing experience in FMCG or food, along with physical branding experience, vendor management strength, and the judgment to prioritize high-impact initiatives and build a credible consumer brand in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the B2C brand strategy and consumer positioning, translating market insight into clear growth priorities that strengthen awareness, preference, and brand differentiation in a competitive food services market.
- Plan and execute integrated ATL, BTL, and digital campaigns that drive consumer acquisition, product trial, repeat behavior, and measurable business outcomes across mass and urban audiences.
- Lead digital and social media marketing, shaping content, influencer activity, and online engagement to improve reach, conversion, and ROI without overspending scarce budget.
- Drive physical branding and retail activation programs, including in-store visibility, sampling, and on-ground promotions, to improve trial generation and strengthen the brand at physical touchpoints.
- Manage agencies and vendors with clear KPIs, ensuring creative, media, digital, and PR partners deliver on time, within budget, and aligned to the brand's commercial goals.
- Partner with sales and distribution teams to align marketing activity with demand generation, retail offtake, and new product launch plans that support revenue growth.
- Build the annual marketing calendar, monitor campaign performance, and present insights to leadership so spend decisions are disciplined, data-driven, and tied to business impact.
- Travel as needed for market visits, activations, and cross-functional coordination so campaigns are executed consistently on the ground.
Essential Skills & Technologies
- Strong B2C marketing background in FMCG or food services, with the ability to build consumer brands through insight-led strategy, sharp positioning, and disciplined execution.
- Experience across ATL, BTL, digital, and social marketing, with a practical understanding of how to sequence channels for reach, engagement, and conversion.
- Proven ability to lead physical branding, retail marketing, and consumer activations, including sampling, promotions, shopper marketing, and in-market execution that drives trial and demand.
- Solid agency, vendor, and stakeholder management skills, with the judgment to keep delivery aligned to budget, timelines, and brand objectives.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to track campaign ROI, brand health, engagement, and conversion metrics, then turn findings into better decisions.
- Strong communication and storytelling ability to translate business goals into clear briefs, internal alignment, and consumer-facing campaigns.
- Working knowledge of planning, budgeting, and performance governance, with comfort making trade-offs in a low-margin business environment.
- Willingness to travel for field execution, activation oversight, and coordination with operational and distribution teams.
Additional Plus
- Exposure to fast-growing FMCG brands or food startups, especially where the brief was to build awareness and demand with limited spend.
- Experience supporting new product launches and go-to-market plans in consumer businesses that need both brand and commercial impact.
- Familiarity with food catering, workplace dining, or adjacent service-led consumer businesses would be useful in understanding operational and customer realities.
What You'll Bring
- You bring 9–12 years of B2C marketing experience and have built consumer demand in FMCG or food environments where brand work must translate into measurable business results.
- You know how to prioritize spend, protect ROI, and keep campaigns effective in a tight budget environment without losing momentum on brand building or customer engagement.
- You can connect marketing, sales, and operations so that consumer campaigns support demand generation, retail execution, and business growth rather than operating in isolation.
- You bring the judgment and communication skills to manage agencies, vendors, and field partners clearly, and keep stakeholders aligned around what will actually move the business.
Why Join Us
This is an opportunity to help shape the consumer-facing growth of a food catering business that is working to build stronger brand recall, better engagement, and more consistent demand in a competitive market. You will partner closely with commercial and operational teams, helping turn insight into action and campaigns into measurable outcomes.
What We Offer
- The chance to own a senior consumer marketing mandate with direct visibility on brand growth and business impact.
- A role where budget discipline, practical execution, and measurable outcomes matter as much as big ideas.
- Close collaboration with sales and operations, giving your work direct influence on demand generation and market execution.
