Job Description
Responsibilities
- Acts as a senior finance business partner to management and key stakeholders, building trust-based relationships and providing clear, commercially grounded insights to support decision making and long-term value creation.
- Leads robust performance management processes, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting, to provide transparency on business performance, risks, and outlook against short- and long-term targets.
- Analyses market trends, industry dynamics, and operating performance to identify growth opportunities, cost optimisation initiatives, and return enhancement levers aligned with shareholders expectations.
- Drives investment evaluation and capital allocation, including financial modelling, business valuation, feasibility studies, and due diligence for strategic investments, M&A, and new business opportunities.
- Prepares and presents high quality business cases and investment proposals to Senior Management and other governance forums, supporting informed and disciplined decision making.
- Plans and manages the business unit's financial strategy, identifying key financial and operational risks and implementing mitigation strategies to protect value and enhance resilience.
- Drives finance transformation initiatives to improve financial processes, data quality, reporting efficiency, and decision support capabilities across business units.
- Works closely with cross functional and regional teams across multiple countries to deliver insightful performance analysis, support strategic initiatives, and embed finance as a value adding partner to the business.
- Possess a good degree in Finance/Accountancy or Business
- Have at least 10 years of relevant work experience
- Team player with proactive personality and initiative
- High energy, enthusiastic team player, confident, mature with high sense of direction
- Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills
- Motivated self-starter, good articulation, enjoy challenges
- Good business acumen and international business mindset
- Enjoy meeting and working with people from diverse backgrounds
- Willing to travel extensively if necessary
- Highly mobile and interested in overseas postings in the near time
