The Marine Business Manager is responsible for driving the sales, operations of marine engines, marine generator sets (gensets), and related power solutions. The role focuses on business growth, customer relationship management, operational efficiency, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Drive sales of marine diesel engines, marine gensets, propulsion systems, and aftermarket solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities in commercial shipping, fishing, offshore, shipbuilding, ports, marine contractors, and government sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with shipowners, fleet operators, shipyards, EPC contractors, and marine consultants.
- Lead commercial negotiations, prepare proposals, and secure major equipment and service contracts.
- Oversee the delivery, installation, commissioning, and project execution of marine engines and gensets.
- Coordinate with engineering, logistics, supply chain, and technical teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Business Administration.
- 5–10+ years of experience in marine engines, marine gensets, diesel engines, power systems, or heavy equipment.
- At least 5 years in a leadership role managing sales, operations,
