We are seeking a strategic thinker who is ambitious and passionate about achieving strong results to join us as the Senior Manager, Chemical Procurement. This role will involve managing the sourcing of chemical materials, reporting to the Global Head of Chemicals Procurement of APP Group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee global sourcing of assigned chemicals to support mill operations.
• Cultivate and manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure stable and sustainable supply and quality performance.
• Lead alternate sourcing efforts, including supplier qualification, coordination with mills, and implementation post-qualification.
• Monitor market conditions and price trends to propose effective purchasing strategies to management.
• Develop and execute a strategic procurement plan aimed at achieving procurement excellence.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or relevant experience in Chemical Procurement.
• Minimum of 10 years of strategic procurement experience.
• Self-motivated and meticulous, with a strong attention to detail.
• Experience in dealing with China counterpart is an added advantage.
