Data Analytics Manager

Job Description

The Data Analytics Manager is responsible in managing and overseeing the Analytics team composed of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Analysts and Data Visualization Developers.

He/she ensures that the organization's data strategies align with its business goals. It requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen to drive data-driven decision- making processes.

He/she works closely with various departments to analyze data and provide actionable insights. This role involves developing analytics strategies, designing data models, and ensuring data accuracy and accessibility to drive informed business decisions. He/she translates complex data into clear insights.

He/she manages the portfolio/projects of the Analytics team and ensures projects are delivered within agreed scope and timeline. He/she ensures work is planned according to the capacity of the team, addresses quality issues and drives resolution. He/she provides regular update to stakeholders and address their concerns.

He/she plan, lead, organize and control the work of the team. Processes and policies are strictly enforced, data governance is adhered to and elevate issues as necessary.

Technical

Data Analysis and Interpretation

Proficiency in statistical analysis, data mining, predictive modeling to

extract data from large databases

Tools and Software

Expertise in Analytics tools: SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI or GA

Data Management

Proficient in data management platforms, including data lake, data warehouse, big data technologies and cloud-based solutions (AWS, Google, Cloud)
