Qualifications
- 3-5 years of management or financial accounting experience, with hands-on preparation of full financial statements, management accounts, month-end reports, reconciliations, and accruals.
- Proven finance/accounting team leadership experience, including supervision, coaching, workload management, and quality review.
- Hands-on budgeting and forecasting experience, including budget preparation, financial forecasts, variance analysis, performance monitoring, and cash flow management.
- Experience with multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, group consolidations, financial controls, and financial analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Xero or similar accounting software.
- Newly qualified, part-qualified, or pursuing ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and commercial judgment, with the ability to interpret financial results, investigate variances, solve problems, and provide meaningful recommendations.
- Excellent English communication and stakeholder management skills for collaborating with UK- and Philippine-based teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Highly organized, proactive, accountable, and deadline-driven, with the ability to manage competing priorities and take ownership of financial and team deliverables.
- Willing to work onsite in Ortigas.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complete sets of financial statements, multi-entity management accounts, consolidated reports, monthly finance packs, and ad-hoc financial analysis.
- Oversee intercompany balances, receivables, payables, accruals, reconciliations, and cash flow while maintaining reporting and compliance standards.
- Analyze budgets, forecasts, costs, variances, KPIs, and financial performance to uncover risks, trends, opportunities, and business drivers.
- Provide actionable financial insights to strengthen planning, forecasting, and management decision-making.
- Partner with operational stakeholders on financial performance while improving controls, reporting processes, documentation, and compliance.
- Drive finance process improvements, reporting automation, and efficiency initiatives that enhance accuracy and productivity.
- Lead and develop the accounting team through coaching, workload planning, performance guidance, and skills development.
- Foster a high-accountability, collaborative finance culture focused on consistent delivery and continuous improvement.
