Overview:
The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will beresponsible for building, deploying, monitoring, and scaling AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI solutions. Owns MLOps, AgentOps, AI observability, performance measurement, and platform engineering to ensure AI solutions are reliable, scalable, and deliver measurable business value.
What you will do:
- Deploy and operate production-grade AI, ML, GenAI, and Agentic AI solutions.
- Build and maintain MLOps pipelines for model training, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Establish AgentOps capabilities including agent monitoring, tracing, guardrails, evaluation, and workflow observability.
- Develop AI platform components such as model serving, vector databases, embeddings pipelines, and AI orchestration frameworks.
- Deliver analytics and insighting on AI performance, business impact, operational productivity, and customer outcomes.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analytics Engineers, Product, Operations, and Engineering teams to operationalise AI solutions.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering, AI Engineering, MLOps, Platform Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Strong Python, SQL, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience deploying AI, ML, LLM, RAG, and Agentic AI solutions in production environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms, containerisation, orchestration, CI/CD, and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of MLOps practices including deployment automation, monitoring, experimentation, and governance.
- Experience implementing AgentOps capabilities such as tracing, observability, workflow analytics, and AI evaluation.
- Knowledge of embeddings, vector databases, retrieval systems, AI orchestration frameworks, and agent architectures.
- Experience defining AI quality metrics and using LLM-as-a-Judge approaches to evaluate AI-generated outputs.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior engineers.
