Job Summary:
The Junior Lawyer provides legal support to the Legal Department by handling litigation, regulatory compliance, contract review, and other legal matters. Under the supervision of senior lawyers, the Junior Lawyer conducts legal research, prepares legal documents, and helps manage case files to ensure timely and effective legal support for the organization's operations and projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist senior lawyers in handling litigation, administrative, and regulatory cases
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents
Review and draft contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence
Monitor case deadlines, hearings, and filing requirements to ensure timely compliance
Coordinate with courts, government agencies, and external counsel as needed
Assist in regulatory compliance matters and submission of required reports
Provide legal support to business units on routine legal concerns
Participate in meetings and assist in evaluating legal risks and issues
Perform other legal tasks as assigned by senior members of the Legal Affairs and Risk Management Department
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a recognized law school; Member of the Bar in good standing
