Senior Linux Engineer / Team Lead - Permanent

We are partnering with a leading technology organisation to hire Senior UNIX / Linux Engineers supporting large-scale enterprise and mission-critical infrastructure environments.

We're looking for a hands-on Senior Linux Engineer / Team Lead to support and optimize enterprise Linux infrastructure within a large-scale hybrid IT environment.

What You'll Do

• Manage and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat OpenShift, Oracle Linux, and related infrastructure platforms.
• Perform system administration, OS patching, hardening, backup & recovery, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and support service recovery activities.
• Collaborate with Network, Storage, Security, and Application teams to deliver stable and secure services.
• Execute infrastructure lifecycle activities including user administration, system upgrades, and software deployments.
• Participate in standby support when required.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead a small team.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on Linux administration experience.
• Experience with RHEL, Oracle Linux, OpenShift, Linux patching, and system hardening.
• Exposure to Windows Server, PowerShell scripting, Active Directory, and Network Routing & Switching.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in enterprise environments.
• RHEL certification is a plus.
