Role Overview
The Lending Senior Officer supports both office-based lending operations and field-based activities. You will handle loan documentation, account servicing, collections coordination, and records management, while also participating in property site visits and government agency processing to gain hands-on lending and collateral experience.
This is a development-focused role designed to progressively build capability in lending and collateral assessment work.
Key Responsibilities
Loan Documentation & Servicing
- Manage loan application documents and ensure completeness and accuracy
- Coordinate with Legal and internal teams for documentation preparation
- Maintain organized, audit-ready loan files and trackers
- Support account servicing and documentation refresh requirements
Field Support (Collateral & Government Processing)
- Assist or accompany field visits for property inspections and collateral review
- Coordinate logistics and document site visit observations
- Support processing and follow-ups with agencies such as DENR, LRA/Registry of Deeds, BIR, and LGUs
- Maintain updated field and processing trackers
Collections & External Coordination
- Assist in payment reminders and collections follow-ups
- Coordinate with external loan finders and track referrals and incentives
- Support documentation and reporting for external partner activities
Records & Process Support
- Maintain lending files and internal trackers
- Assist in process documentation and workflow improvements
- Flag gaps, delays, and operational issues for escalation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Legal Management, Real Estate Management, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in lending, credit, documentation, collections, or related industries
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Proficient in MS Excel / Google Sheets
- Willingness to do fieldwork and government agency visits
- Strong attention to detail, accountability, and follow-through
