Job Description

About the Role Reporting to the Senior Director Legal, you will serve as a key lead for our Philippines legal operations. This is a hands-on leadership position spanning commercial contracting, employment law, dispute management, and strategic legal advisory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and negotiate complex IT transactions, including MSAs, SOWs, SaaS/licensing agreements, DPAs, and vendor contracts.
  • Provide daily legal advisory to business, HR, and executive leadership teams on commercial and operational matters.
  • Advise on Philippine employment law, including hiring, terminations, policy compliance, and local labor regulations.
  • Manage disputes and litigation in coordination with external counsel.
  • Partner with the global legal team on cross-border matters, standardized templates, and legal process improvements.
  • Ensure strict regulatory compliance and proactively mitigate legal risks with practical, business-friendly solutions.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 15+ years of post-qualification legal experience.
  • Law degree from an accredited institution.
  • Extensive in-house generalist experience.
  • Strong expertise in IT/technology transactions and commercial contracting.
  • Solid grounding in Philippine employment law and local regulations.
  • Direct experience handling disputes/litigation and managing outside counsel.

  • Prior experience in a technology, software, or IT services company.
