Senior Legal Counsel - Investment Management

A leading global private investment firm is looking for a Senior Funds Counsel to join its Singapore team, a rare in-house opportunity at the intersection of private wealth distribution and product innovation across APAC.

This is not a pure legal maintenance role. You will lead structuring and distribution of semi-liquid fund structures, negotiate distribution and advisory agreements, advise across multiple APAC jurisdictions, and work directly with client solutions and business development teams to open up private markets access for the region's private wealth segment.

The role in brief:

• Design, form and negotiate semi-liquid products, feeder funds and bespoke investor solutions
• Draft and negotiate offering memoranda, LPAs, side letters, distribution agreements and related documentation
• Advise on fund establishment, governance and marketing regulations across APAC
• Partner with Client Solutions on private wealth strategy and business development
• Manage external counsel and contribute to global product initiati

What they are looking for:

• Common law qualified lawyer, Singapore-based, 7+ years PQE
• Background from a top-tier law firm, bank or asset manager
• Strong experience in private markets fund structuring, semi-liquid, institutional, retail and/or securitised vehicles
• Solid APAC regulatory knowledge across fund distribution and investor segments
• Mandarin proficiency is a plus; English fluency is essential
