What you'll be doing
- Provides legal opinion on all matters relating to the business, including labor and management issues and concerns. Drafts, reviews and assists in negotiating agreements/contracts that may be required in the business. Attends to cases in litigation, including appearances in court or other government agencies.
- Advises and represents the company before government agencies, such as regulators, judicial and quasi-judicial bodies, and legislative bodies
- Supports the business in managing and mitigating legal, regulatory, and commercial risks and assist in implementing solutions and compliance
- Drafts, reviews and assists in the negotiation of contracts and other legal documents ensuring always that the interest of the business is amply protected
What we're looking for
- Licensed lawyer with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience, including at least 3-5 years in a publicly listed company
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions is a plus
