Senior Legal Counsel (Travel requirement)

Job Description & Requirements

We are representing a prominent regional manufacturing company in the sports industry to find a Senior Legal Counsel. You will join a tight-knit legal team, working closely alongside Head of Legal, and take ownership of general commercial contracts across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial Contracting: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of general commercial agreements, including sales and supplier contracts.
• M&A & Strategic Transactions: Support corporate development initiatives, including domestic and cross-border M&A investments and asset acquisitions.
• Corporate Secretarial & Compliance: Handle corporate secretarial duties, manage compliance frameworks, and conduct regulatory compliance training for internal teams.
• Regional Travel: Coordinate and travel occasionally to developing countries where company manufacturing plants and facilities are located.

What We Are Looking For

• 5–9 years of PQE, demonstrating the capability to work independently.
• Singapore or common law qualified lawyers.
• Strong general corporate and commercial background. M&A experience is a distinct advantage.
• Well-versed in corporate secretarial tasks and regulatory compliance.
