Job Description

As a Senior Learning and Development Specialist, you will design, deliver, and evaluate learning programs that strengthen workforce capability and engagement. You'll conduct training needs analysis, develop targeted programs, and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure learning initiatives align with organisational goals and support sustainable, long-term performance.

Job Overview

Employment type: Full-time

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM AEST

Work setup: Onsite, Makati

The Qualifications We Seek

Education & Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in a Learning and Development or equivalent position
  • Experience in designing and delivering training programs

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in digital learning tools and LMS platforms (LMS - Absorb, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and solution-focused approach
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Results-oriented mindset
  • Collaborative and supportive team player

Key Measures of Success

  • Successful implementation of training programs aligned with organisational needs
  • Measurable improvement in employee capability and engagement
  • Timely delivery of the training calendar and positive stakeholder feedback

Your Daily Tasks

  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA), including managing learning maps and frameworks to identify skill gaps
  • Collaborate with HR, Operations, and Health & Safety teams to identify educational and engagement improvement opportunities and assist in ensuring prioritisation and stakeholder sign-off
  • Evaluate training effectiveness by gathering feedback and refining programs for optimum impact
  • Design and facilitate diverse learning experiences, including workshops, e-learning, digital learning, and blended programs
  • Manage and publish the annual training calendar and coordinate logistics with internal teams and external partners
  • Utilise digital learning tools and platforms (e.g., LMS, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite) to support content delivery and LMS management
  • Manage administrative tasks associated with inductions, including correspondence on attendance and participation, and updating participant lists in the learning management system
