The role involves supporting the development and management of project plans and timelines for IT transformation initiatives, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. The position is critical in tracking project deliverables, preparing updates for governance committees, and facilitating communication among various teams to drive project success.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Support the development of the overall project plan and critical path timeline.
- Coordinate with functional and technical experts to analyze and provide feedback on business cases.
- Prepare periodic updates for governance forums and stakeholders.
- Monitor project workstreams and track deliverables progress.
- Prepare materials including presentations, minutes, actions, and RAID logs.
- Establish and maintain a collaboration site for document storage.
- Transfer knowledge to other staff and personnel as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
- 10+ years of Project Management/Product Owner experience in managing complex IT transformation programs.
- Proven knowledge and application of program and project management tools and techniques.
- Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and people management for projects.
- Proficient in project management software (preferably MS Project/Online), MS Teams, and O365.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or a degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience in adoption and change management for change projects.
- Knowledge of crafting business benefit tracking for digital projects.
- Experience with client portal and payment systems implementation.
- Certification in MSP, PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or CITPM
