What role will you play
As a Senior Engineer you will be a technical leader and you will own the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the platforms of your team. You will work closely with product managers to ensure the team understands the problems they're trying to solve, using your knowledge and experience to shape the best solution possible.
At Macquarie our org structure is flat, your daily responsibilities will be a mixture of a software engineer and mentor to junior engineers. You will help cultivate a culture of continuous learning and improvement in the team.
What You Offer
- Hands-on experience and strong skills with Java 8+
- Hands-on experience with Spring and SpringBoot is advantageous
- Thorough understanding and experience of APIs/microservices architecture
- Experience in automated unit and integration testing
- Experience working with SQL and JPA
- Demonstrable ability to break down problems and solve them systematically.
