Senior Java Software Engineer

About the role

Join our client's newly forming engineering team as a senior member, where you'll play a key role in building, delivering, and maintaining reliable software. You'll take ownership of backend engineering, contribute to technical decisions, and help shape a strong engineering foundation as the team grows.

Location: Hyderabad

What you'll do

• Own projects end to end, from understanding requirements and designing solutions to delivering and maintaining production-ready software
• Build and maintain robust backend systems using Java and Spring
• Contribute across the stack, with opportunities to work with ReactJS
• Make sound technical decisions around architecture, scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Work closely with the team to troubleshoot complex engineering and production issues
• Apply a strong understanding of DevOps and operational practices to build and maintain reliable systems
• Help establish engineering best practices as part of a newly forming team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time

What we're looking for

• 5 to 8 years of strong software engineering experience
• Expert-level backend engineering skills, with strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring
• Good understanding of software architecture, scalability, and system design
• Experience with ReactJS and full-stack development
• Good understanding of DevOps and production/operational practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of technical challenges
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
