Java Engineer (Spring Boot | Microservices | AWS | Snowflake)

Location: Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig

Work Setup: Hybrid

Salary: Open based on experience

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices for business-critical systems.
• Develop cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services.
• Integrate applications with Snowflake and other enterprise data platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design technical solutions and deliver high-quality software.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve application performance and reliability.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and RESTful API development.
• Hands-on experience building Microservices.
• Experience working with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, or IAM.
• Experience integrating or working with Snowflake.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
• Exposure to banking, fintech, insurance, or enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and cloud-native application design.
