Job Summary

Career Path Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is hiring on behalf of GlobalLogic for an experienced Senior Java Developer with AWS Experience.

We are looking for a strong backend developer with hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS. The ideal candidate should have experience building scalable backend applications, developing REST APIs, and implementing serverless solutions using AWS services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain Microservices-based applications.
• Design and implement serverless workflows using AWS Step Functions.
• Develop and integrate multiple AWS services to build scalable cloud and serverless applications.
• Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions, preferably using Python.
• Design and develop APIs using AWS API Gateway.
• Work with Amazon RDS and other AWS database services.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot application issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 8–10 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience developing Microservices.
• Good hands-on knowledge of AWS services.
• Experience with AWS Step Functions and serverless workflows.
• Experience developing AWS Lambda functions, preferably using Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS API Gateway and API development.
• Experience working with Amazon RDS and cloud databases.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend application development.
• Good understanding of cloud-based and serverless application architecture.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional AWS services such as:
• EC2
• S3
• EKS
• CloudFormation
• DynamoDB
• CloudWatch
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies.
• Knowledge of Python scripting and serverless application development.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
