Senior Java Developer

GECO Asia is Hiring: Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in full-stack development, microservices architecture, and modern Java frameworks.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack Java applications
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services
• Support modernization of legacy systems into microservices architecture
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code with proper documentation
• Perform unit testing and ensure application performance and reliability
  
  

• At least 5+ years of experience in Java development
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or higher) and Spring Boot
• Experience in REST API development and microservices architecture
• Solid background in full-stack development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Experience with API integration and system enhancements
• Strong knowledge of JPA/Hibernate and SQL databases (e.g., MySQL)
• Familiarity with Maven and Git-based version control systems
• Experience with JUnit for unit testing
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
  
  

• Experience with Spring MVC or legacy systems
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) or CI/CD pipelines
