As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a key role in both development and application support:

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of Java-based applications
• Deliver backend-focused solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs
• Support and maintain live systems by troubleshooting and resolving production issues
• Drive continuous service improvements to reduce incidents and improve system performance
• Collaborate with stakeholders and business users to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and reviews
• Provide technical documentation and support knowledge transfer initiatives
• Contribute to innovation by recommending improvements and new solutions
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Java Developer
  
  

• Strong experience in:
  • Java (8 & 17), Spring Boot, REST APIs
  • Backend development and API integration
    
    
• Hands-on experience in:
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and production support
  • Resolving incidents, bug fixing, and system enhancements
    
    
• Working knowledge of:
  • MySQL or similar databases
  • Application servers such as Tomcat
    
    

• Experience with:
  • JSF / JSP or
  • Modern frameworks like React or Angular
    
    

• Build tools: Maven, Ant
• Version control: Git (Git Flow)
• DevOps / Agile: Azure DevOps, Scrum
  
  
  

• Experience with C# / .NET (secondary or supporting skill)
• Exposure to legacy systems or enterprise applications
• Background in application maintenance support environment
