Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with a strong background in backend development and hands-on experience in API integrations. This role is ideal for professionals who have worked with tools such as MuleSoft, WSO2, Boomi, or similar platforms, and are looking to step into an Integration Architect or Integration Lead path. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting integration solutions for enterprise clients, collaborating with global teams across various projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using Java and middleware/API platforms.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Lead or contribute to API design, development, and deployment.
Implement integration patterns and best practices in backend architecture.
Guide junior developers and enforce development standards.
Write technical documentation including architecture diagrams, API contracts, and integration flows.
Participate in version control, CI/CD pipelines, and release management processes.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in Java backend development (preferably using Spring Boot or related frameworks).
Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
Experience building or consuming SOAP and REST services.
Experience Using Integration Or API Platforms Such As
MuleSoft (Anypoint Platform or CloudHub)
WSO2 (EI, API Manager)
Boomi, Apigee, or similar tools
Proficiency in using Git and other version control tools (e.g., GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps).
Solid grasp of integration principles, microservices architecture, and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Exposure to messaging protocols (JMS, FTP, SMTP).
Experience working in consulting, enterprise application development, or IT support.
Prior involvement in deployment, configuration management, and DevOps pipelines.
