Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Java Consultant with borderline architect-level expertise. This role requires versatility and the ability to manage end-to-end project implementation, from requirements gathering and architecture design to deployment and delivery. The consultant will act as both a technical leader and a hands-on contributor.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute projects across all phases: design, development, testing, deployment, and delivery.
- Architect and design scalable, high-performance Java solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, Data Engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to project teams.
- Ensure solutions meet standards for scalability, performance, and security.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong expertise in Core Java (OOP, multithreading, collections, performance tuning).
- Proven experience in solution architecture and system design.
- Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and modern integration frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- English proficiency at 9/10 with a neutral accent for clear client communication.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of professional Java development experience.
- Demonstrated success in end-to-end project implementations.
- Ability to operate effectively at a consultant/architect level.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
